The viewer makes the story possible: without him or her, the characters remain inert, waiting for the next interaction. The spectator clicks, plays and searches through the simple, uncluttered scenes, truly driving the experience.
“The Wilderness Downtown” is an interactive interpretation of Arcade Fire’s song “We Used To Wait” and was built entirely with the latest open web technologies, including HTML5 video, audio, and canvas.

This is not a new site, but I wanted to post it in tribute to Arcade Fire’s new album, “The Suburbs.” It’s quite possibly the coolest interactive music video I’ve ever seen at the band’s BeOnlineB website.Click on the screen and control what Win Butler does with his hands, or click on his face and watch it disappear in a puff of smoke.
