Robbie Porter is an illustrator and designer who currently lives and works in Scotland. His strait-laced approach contrasted with his warm sense of humor is a playful dichotomy and I think it totally works. A quick flick through his portfolio and you’ll find yourself in a crazy world where business men take dinosaurs for walks and lumberjacks knock down giant pencils. More of his work can be found online here.

After watching the David Lynch series, ‘Twin Peaks’, illustrator Holly Wales was inspired to create this set of gorgeous illustrations. I can’t stop looking at the perfectly balanced, refined shapes and alkaline colours. Great consideration has been taken over the contrasting textures and matte areas in what Holly describes as a series produced in order to explore ideas about how narrative affects the way images are presented separately, rather than as whole, complete scenes.
As an artist, Holly doesn’t restrict herself to just her commercial work, as impressive as it is, having worked for BBC, Design Week, Fallon, Urban Outfitters, and many newspapers and magazines.

Vadim Gannenko is an amazing illustrator from Kiev in Ukraine. He is also focused on branding, packaging and booklets which he designs with his agency Artmonolit Studio. Many of his illustration remind me of childhood, as each piece has a playful feel. You can see many more of Vadim’s illustrations in this article or check them out over at his website!

Michael Myers designs these smart and simple vintage style super hero posters. The stylized illustrations and digitally aged paper combine for a very cool effect. Matt is a designer and illustrator who also blogs about his own work and work he admires (like this super cool vintage-style Teen Wolf poster).

Jan Feliks Kallwejt is freelance graphic designer and illustrator currently based in Barcelona and Warsaw. He co-operates with clients from Europe and North America. For six years he has worked with agencies in Warsaw and Hamburg. Currently, Jan focuses on illustration, apparel design and personal art projects.
Simple yet sophisticated forms are the essence of his work. He juxtaposes and multiplies them bringing to life the complex and tricky compositions, spiced up with attention to detail. He usually limits color palette, operating within two or three tones. To render the reality he employs multilayered symbolism, occasionally dropping in a dose of perversion where not expected.
