Backseat Driver, the first product introduced by ToyToyota, is an iPhone application which allows users to enjoy driving from the back seat of their car.The player controlling My Car follows Papa Car, whose moves mirror the route of the real car in which the player is riding, using the iPhone’s GPS functionality.  By steering My Car left and right to follow Papa Car’s path and pick up objects, the player can score points.
You can gain points by collecting the items Papa Car drops, and the Landmark Icons of shops and facilities that are from the real maps. After you gained some points, you can customize your car with your own designs. The designs of your car and the saved route you took can be shared via Twitter.

McKinney Agency and Sherwin Williams launches a new advertising campaign celebrating a world made entirely of color chips. The launch effort consists of three tv commercials (directed by Buck NY), four print ads (created by paper artist Matthew Sporzynski), online advertising, an iPhone app and an interactive Color Visualizer. The tagline: “Make the most of your color with the very best paint.”

“We’re excited to have created a campaign that’s brand-focused storytelling through art. We were able to take what Sherwin-Williams is known for – expertise, advice and the world’s best paint – and leverage it against an emotionally resonant story about color, using the single most important element in most painting decisions: the color chip.”

Ever wanted to feel like you live on the moon? The Winscape application from Rational Craft will turn two plasma TVs into virtual windows and give you a realistic interactive view of Earth from space, an underwater aquarium, or simply footage of the Golden Gate Bridge as you move around the room.

Winscape is the brainchild of Ryan Hoagland who dreamed of creating virtual windows out of engineering scrap. He began by installing two plasma TVs; fans to extract the warm air generated; and a dry wall facade to house it all whilst still allowing access should the TVs need maintenance. Next he hacked a Wii Remote to allow tracking of movement of an object or person independent of batteries and using Bluetooth, and re-wrote bits of OS X application that allows data retrieved by the Wii Remote motion sensor to be interpreted by a custom-built IR-emitting board that can be hung from the viewer like a necklace. This causes the view and perspective to change as the necklace-wearer moves around the room. Quicktime and OpenGL contexts are shared to allow HD video to run on two screens in the proper proportions, and the whole thing is fed by an Apple Mac Pro workstation in the next room.

A refreshingly looking puzzle game taking on ribbon concept with a simple task to weave it accross the points of the same colour. This of course becomes more challenging as you progress through the levels where you need to guide multiple ribbons over one another. See video for gameplay.
