I met Ms. Emily Martin of The Black Apple this weekend at the Renegade Craft Fair in San Francisco, and her art is just as delightful as she is in person. When I first saw her art I was immediately transfered back to my childhood. Her pieces are very whimsical - you’ll find portraits of wide-eyed girls holding sugar bowls, OddFellows circus characters, and her recent Alice in Wonderland prints. The Black Apple is too charming for words for the imaginative younger and adult. Be sure to check out her Etsy profile and her blog where you can purchase her prints.
