For most of the Western world, the way we picture what life in Afghanistan might be like is largely influenced by five second news clippings featuring the devastating effects of war, except for Noah Abrams. Upon hearing of the country’s emerging skate scene, Abrams hopped on a plane to go and document the Afghan locals and their skeboards. Check out his photo project called Skateisan. 

Abrams is an LA based photographer specializing in documentary portraiture.
